Need Advice RE:Condo Pasalo/Refund

Problem/Goal: I've been meaning to know what is the best option for me to at least recover some funds for a condo unit I've tried to buy.

Context: I initially paid DP for a preselling condo unit with parking last September 2023, and been continuously paying monthly for it. However, due to change in financial plans, I may have to cancel the purchase altogether before it goes to the bank for loan or developer cancellation.

Do I wait it out until Sep 2025 for 2 years (Maceda Law) if I understand correctly, or can I try to ask the developer to get another buyer (or should I look for one now)
