Self-replacing the radiator on a Honda Civic.

2013 Honda Civic at just over 90k miles.

Am I a fool for wanting to do this myself?

I watched some videos and it seems fairly straightforward actually. Most annoying thing is that I don't have the best tools so it'll take longer than it should.

I don't do any work on my car (hasn't come up apart from oil changes that don't seem worth the time), but I'm a mechanical engineer so do have some experience working with my hands and don't get intimidating by taking things apart/putting things together.

Based on other reddit threads seems like it should be okay, but I'd appreciate yall dummy checking me and letting me know if it's a good idea or if I should just shell out the money ($750 estimate).

Figured while I was in there I could also replace other things people have mentioned.

Bonus if you've read this far: I'd also like to change my own transmission fluid.

Thanks yall.
