A ghosting matter - part 1
heyyy everyone! I'd like to share a point of view of a character. please dont be shy to comment!
1- Go Eunhyeok
so basically I'm going to put this all in a scenario.
imagine you and your boyfriend are in a happy relationship. the problem is that he doesn't tell you anything about his personal life. he prefers to act like he's fine, and privately let all his true emotions out, he's also deaf in one ear, because his mom swinged a bat at his ear accidentally after hearing of his fathers cheating scandal. his father has broken his mothers heart by cheating on her causing her to commit substance abuse. eunhyeok may be rich, but he was unhappy and did anything to not become his father. his father played the piano, so he avoided it at all costs building trauma from it.
and yet, he would play it for you to comfort you, having you be his source of happiness. until one day you went to his place to only to see his father abusing him and as his family issues uncovering right before your eyes. you feel anxious and scared not knowing how to react and walk away taking some time to yourself. as soon as you leave, eunhyeok calls you. you decide to decline not wanting to speak with him at the moment because of what you saw. later you call eunhyeok and he stops picking up. you now realize that call from eunhyeok, was his very last call. you feel regret for not picking it up.
8 years passed, and eunhyeok your boyfriend, has completely disappeared from your life.
basically, I wanted to share this with you all because if ALL of you imagine yourself in eunhyeok's shoes, we realize he TRIED. he was getting abused by his father and as soon as su-ae left he did TRY to call her. we can't blame him without knowing what he's went through after all these years. eunhyeok keeps things hidden from su-ae.
so please. if you say, eunhyeok didn't try to contact her. he infact DID!!
