Empaths

How many of you consider yourselves empaths? How many find yourselves drawn to people who are hurting in some way. And want to "fix" them? My last 2 relationships were very similar and I got hurt in similar ways. And both men were struggling in some form. My last one had MS and was struggling both physically and mentally. My heart went out to him and I wanted to be there for him and "fix" him emotionally so to speak. Little did i know.... I still feel for his MS struggles but after what he put me through with little to no sympathy, my sympathy is waning. We are over and he has new victims on the horizon.
