Help guys got 50k

So, I am in my first year and have received the Reliance Foundation Scholarship of ₹50K (and in the upcoming three years I will also get ₹50K per year). I am thinking of buying a phone with it because my current phone is in very bad condition—I have been using it for 5.5 years. So I am considering buying an iPhone 😂. I love photography

But how do I convince my parents to let me buy such an expensive phone, even though it’s with scholarship money? They might not even agree to anything above ₹20K 🙂.

I haven’t told my parents about the scholarship yet, or should I use the money for something better instead?
