What to do if you don't have the connections or the experience to stand out?

Hi, I'm 22 and I have never had a job. I've been applying non-stop since last year and only got 1 interview for a seasonal temp last Christmas and got rejected. Had my CV and cover letter looked over by two job coaches and they said it looked good. I've tried emailing companies directly asking if they have any vacancies and get no response.

I'm in desperate need of an income and I'm not getting anywhere. My city's statistics for job seekers isn't great at the moment (33% struggling to find any work). What should I do to better my odd? I'm grateful for any feedback because I am at a complete loss.
