Help me find a mystery Fyrinnae fragrance!

Hey there! This post is NOT a Fyrinnae diss track! I’ll be a customer forever because I love what I’ve gotten from them so much, and their customer service is so polite and ready to help.

In July 2024, I bought some eyeshadow and fragrance samples from Fyrrinae. I got Maine Coon, Marshmelloud and some shadows for my friend’s birthday present, and I received a free perfume sample that I loved so much I had to keep it. It was labeled Lesvos and it is my holy grail, favorite fragrance of all time. I decided to buy a 5ml Lesvos, but its heavy caramel note does not resemble the tiny “Lesvos” sample very much at all. Thinking that the extreme heat where I live had affected the oil, I reached out to customer service and they replaced it, but the replacement bottle wasn’t the same either.

I suspect that the sample I love, may have been mis-labeled. Mistakes happen no matter the size or importance of an operation. It could also be that something mixed or separated in the package with that pretty sample. Or I might have lost my mind.

The logical step might be to reach out again, but I don’t want to make a smaller business bend over backwards over something like this. I want to figure out what it is and snag the biggest bottle they have left. I also admit to messing up on my part, being a people pleaser and saying it was fine when it was not!

Lesvos has a strong bourbon caramel note on top, with some amber and a linen / cashmere note at the base. The fragrance I’m looking for opens with a vanilla type of note that is definitely sweet, but lighter and cleaner than Lesvos’ caramel if that makes sense. In the middle, I get a little bit of incense or a woody resin along with more of something spicy, could be a hint of cinnamon, cardamom, or black pepper, before it fades to a powdery “white musk” type of scent. Sillage is light to medium.

It seems to share a sweet note of some sort with Lesvos, but it is very different. It’s less gooey and it radiates warmth in a way that Lesvos does not. Of their resinous blends I’ve tried, it more closely resembles Maine Coon than Lesvos and Marshmalloud, but without Maine Coon’s fruity note (though I adore that one too!).

I’m checking their master list and I have a few ideas, but I want to run it by the community first.
