Tech Job Scene in LA??

Hello, I would like to know what is the tech job market like in Los Angeles? (Over 5 years work experience.)

Salary for a full stack developer? (JavaScript proficient.)

Is there a lot of discrimination when hiring? (Race, sex..etc)

What part of LA would you say most of the tech companies are located in? (Apart from Palo Alto)

Is moving to LA a good idea for a change of scenery? (I will be moving from Phoenix, Arizona.) I want to live somewhere that allows me to enjoy a good nightlife.

I love big cities, lots of people, I am outgoing and have no fear of trying new things and making new friends. I have another 2 and a half full years to prepare and save for this move.
