G1 Storage Voltage / Is there a way to turn the glasses "off"?

I don't really need my glasses over the weekend, so I'm trying to figure out how to store them for longer periods of time.

From my experience flying FPV drones, I’ve learned that lithium batteries degrade faster when kept at or near 100% charge, whereas they degrade more slowly when stored at certain voltages, typically around 50% charge. With this in mind, I tried charging both my case and glasses to 50%, then:

• Removing the glasses from the case
• Activating "silent mode"
• Disconnecting the glasses from the app
• Storing them folded on my desk

After the first hour, I reconnected them and found that the charge had increased by 1%. However, after the second hour, the charge had dropped by 5%!

How can I store these glasses in a deactivated state without them draining to 0% or having to keep them fully charged in the case?
