I thought it was just me, but, yeah, my roommate is A MASSIVE douche to everyone, he even snubbed our landlord saying hello during my house viewing lol

I realize why the landlord asked me in such an unusual way how I was settling in.

Almost like he was expecting some unnecessary drama to kick off...again.

I now believe that the other roommate (a very nice person) actively avoids the douchey roommate like the plague.

I think he sleeps downstairs sometimes because my roommate just demands serious amounts of time from the house as well as just being noisy.

This dude is up at 7am playing/singing to music, slamming everything, pots, pans, doors, running up and down the stairs for no reason. Breaking his own "house rules" even.

He absolutely HOGS the kitchen from dawn to dusk, making elaborate small meals, 3 hours in the morning, indeterminate times in the evening. The dish rack is constantly full to the brim at all costs. I've never once seen it empty, he has half the kitchen on it.

The nice roommate literally slips in and out of the kitchen when the douchey roommate isn't there. Just to have some peace.

He treats the house like a business, his business, we are only guests to him in our own home, it's a fucking awful atmosphere.

There is no way of having him removed as the landlord just sees money.

The douchey roommate was nice for like a whole 5 seconds, but man, he just let the mask fall off immediately.

The place would be lovely if he wasn't here. I probably would have liked it.

I'm seeking somewhere else, whenever the opportunity arises.

I had a roommate like him once and I utterly despise the sheer arrogance of these kinds of people. They never change and they think they have you under their thumb.

The douchey roommate barely acknowledges our presence often offering a sullen hello like you are the shit on the shoe. Any presence we have just offends him.

I've never heard them once having a real conversation with each other. The absolute bare minimum.
