Since when was the Virgin Mary necessary for our salvation?

I guess all these years I’ve been reading scripture wrong I didn’t know Mary was necessary for our salvation a lot of catholic apologists and Catholics I’ve engaged with make these claims that without Mary we wouldn’t have Jesus and that got me thinking if we believe Jesus is god since was he bound to only Mary ? I know Mary have Christ his human nature but that don’t mean she’s our direct source we know Jesus was not created he’s endless and he made all things John 1:1 but Mary was created another thing that makes no sense to me is when they say Mary is the mother of the god head since when was she the mother of the Holy Spirit ?
