Should I clarify what I meant in a message to guy?

I know I’m probably overthinking this but I had to ask just to build on my social and dating skills in general.

I exchanged some messages with a guy on a dating app. He asked me if I’d ever been to book/reading bars because he goes to them to get himself to read. I replied with a few messages and one thing I said was something like: “no I’d never been to one. But I would probably be more into it if everyone else was doing it” - by which I meant READING, not going to book bars. Like if I was in a book bar, I would feel more pressured to read, too. I realize it may have sounded like I’d be more into going to a book bar if more people did that. Which I realize may have sounded rude, like I was implying they weren’t very popular.

He hasn’t responded since I sent that message lol.

Am I overthinking this? Is it worth a clarification in these types of situations in general, or could he have simply stopped because he lost interest? I had written another message following that one chatting about a book club event I’ve been to, so I kept things conversational and engaged. But sometimes when I get kind of anxious in social interactions, I fumble my responses like in my other message where I say something in a super awkward, thoughtless way and I wonder how much damage it’s actually doing, lol.

I know I’m probably overthinking but I had to ask.
