hyperfixation

okay so i'm hyperfixated on a show right now. howeverrrrr, im not sure if it's a hyperfixation or a special interest. i've liked it for probably almost nine or ten years now, but every few months it goes into crazy overdrive and i have to consume EVERYTHING i can about it. i'm talking constantly listening to soundtracks, rewatching multiple times, online rps, even cosplay at a point. would this be considered a special interest or a hyperfixation?
