Hi all,

I'll try to keep it brief as possible. I am interested in getting my first suppressor, and while I figured I'd start with a 22lr for my 10/22, I'm considering starting with one for my centerfire handguns instead.

I have a Beretta 84bb (380acp) with a threaded barrel, plus an Allegheny Arms 32acp barrel, and I'd like a single can that will work well for both calibers on this smaller handgun. I know that a 9mm can will work and the consensus seems to be that there isn't much point buying some dedicated 32acp can over a 9mm-diameter one which will also fit, but I'm wondering how something like the Ecco Canine would work. I would be threading it on and off each time I go shoot (since I need to field-strip to swap barrels).

I want a shorter can if possible, and I'm willing to take a thicker can for a shorter overall package. For some reason having a 5.5" can on a ~3" barrel just seems so weird to me. I would POSSIBLY run the can on my LTT 92G as well, but primarily I want it for the 380/32acp guns. Does anyone have experience with an Ecco Canine on a Beretta 80-series gun, or used it to suppress a 32/380 cartridge? The Canine is sub-$500 which seems nice compared to some of the modular cans (like the Obsidian9 I've also considered) that can be closer to $800 sometimes. I highly suspect even if I had a modular can I'd run it 90%+ of the time in the K configuration anyway, so I'm not sure how much utility I'd gain there. Any insight for these (or other) cans intended to be used with something lighter/weaker than 9mm is appreciated, thank you all!
