Formatted NVMe by mistake what are my recovery options?

Hey everyone,
I recently rebuilt my PC and, during the process, I purposely formatted my NVMe drive. However, later I realized that some pictures I thought were saved on another drive were actually on the one I formatted. It took me a while to realize this, which is why the drive has still been plugged in for the past two weeks.

For context:

  • The drive in question is now my second NVMe, while I’m using a different one as my primary.
  • I haven’t written anything new to it or done anything else with it since the format.

I’ve tried several data recovery tools like Disk Drill, Recuva, TestDisk, and PhotoRec, but none of them have been able to find the deleted files I need.

At this point, I’m wondering if there’s anything else I can try or if I’m out of options. Am I missing something? Any advice or suggestions would be really appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
