Help… what to do next with LED issue
I replaced a traditional four lantern ceiling fan in my kitchen because it kept burning out light bulbs faster than anywhere else in the house. I tried candescent, CFL, & LED bulbs. I replaced the ceiling fan in December with a new Hudson Bay with a single flat LED downlight. The LED stopped working within 2 weeks. So I bought another one chalking it up to faulty. The replacement (same model) has been up for just over two months and the LED stopped working this evening (it was working this afternoon).
During the replacement process, I checked the 12 gauge romex to see if the voltage or ohms were surging but nothing irregular showed.
Ensuring someone didn’t hit the remote that is shoved in a drawer, I tested if that would turn the light on, but no dice. Remote did start and stop the fan though, so the fan is getting the proper signals.
What do you guys recommend I do next?
