Change serial Number

I bought a macbook air m1 and it has an mdm lock thay was bypassed. My problem is that i cant put an activation lock to my apple id on it. I wonder where is the serial number is stored, could i swap the serial number from a broken logic board so i can remove mdm permanently? I bought it from a store that only deals with apple products and have receipt from them.
