Season Lenght & Snow Soup Galore

This has been bugging me for some time now. I live in central to eastern europe, it is 8th of March, and it is 20°C outside. The season started in december and i feel like i was not even able to take a deep breath and it's long gone now. I still study and i don't know where i want to live yet but the videos from a week ago with heavy powder and white forests pique my interest.

Where do you guys live if you get seasons and snow like this? I would like to take it into consideration when i decide some years down the line. It is really frustrating to properly connect with the sport when i get 20 days on the snow, most of which is ice or snow soup.
