Vertical Mounting my 5070 Ti - To do or not to do

My 5070 Ti is arriving today. I'm going to install it horizontally to perform some benchmarks and monitor temps.

However, I'd quite like to install it vertically. It's the Gigabyte Gaming OC version ingot with the nice RGB fans I'd like to have facing outward, through the glass panel.

Is there any reason I shouldn't do this?nMuch higher temps, performance drops etc...

Likewise, any suggestions for the fan favourite adapter would be greatly appreciated as there's a fair few on the market.
