Bared Turning Chisels

Hi

Buying my first turning chisels- Anyone have experience of Narex turning chisels? I have a couple of sets of Narex and really happy with them- so tending towards their turning chisels

Are they as good as the standard wood chisels?

Is the Cr-Mn steel the same as HSS? Thanks for feedback
