Voice note routing through loud speaker

I usually (99.9% of the time) play/listen voice note on my phone’s earpiece. But if I get another msg while the voice not is playing the screen turn on and the voice note goes to the loud speaker. This happens every single time and initially I though it’s my phone’s issue or the WhatsApp build I’m using (I’m on beta and update it regularly through play store). But few days ago I was with my friend and he had the same experience then I checked his phone he was on latest stable build from play store. Then to rule out the phone fault I asked my brother he tested it confirmed it… what’s going on its been months at least since with this annoying issue and I always though its either beta or my phone…
