Mh Wilds is disappointing in a specific way.

Don’t get me wrong, the game is AMAZING in terms of improvements from the older games, fights, mechanics, graphics (even tho they are almost the same as world).
But I don’t know if it’s only me, but this game is TINY, is so tiny compared to other games man, I finished the campaign in about 14 hours in and this for me feels like an insane downgrade since (not counting on rise) 14 hours in would I would still be doing low tier quests, and I am not rushing the game at all! I did a lot of secondary, farmed gear and etc but out of nowhere BOOM I’m in the last quest of the game? Why? Why does it feels like the pacing is so shit? At one moment you are searching for details of an elder beast and then boom you are in the final fight of the game, and my biggest deception is how easy the fight is, I mean I know you can remove your palico but man, beating Zoh Shia first try and not fainting once is bizarre, the healing of palico and how tanky the hunters are is something else, I remeber spending a whole day trying to beat fatalis and a LOT of tries to beat Xeno’jiiva.
Also the way the maps feel empty is disgusting, what is the point of making bigger maps if they are INSANELY empty, they don’t have have depth.
I’m ranting but ofc I will spend 1000 hours in this game because ITS AMAZING on its own, but cmon, capcom could have done better.
And don’t get me started with the performance, 90 fps on a high end pc requiring me to use frame gen is disappointing.
