Will Nintendo repair a Switch that's been opened?
Hi all! I have a Switch OLED that has begun to absolutely die on me; doesn't hold charge, overheats, orange-screened me twice, and now won't connect to the internet. I have opened it and replaced the battery, as well as having a local repair shop take a look at it (but the guy said he wasn't able to fix it because it might be a motherboard issue).
The Switch has been out of warranty for almost a year, and all of this has happened within the last 4 months or so. I know the Switch 2 is coming out soon, but I do use my OLED a lot and want to keep using it. :(
Will Nintendo repair a console that's been opened? I understand the costs involved, but I don't want to send it off if they'll just send it straight back.
