Too much purfume? (2 sprays)

So I'm 21 and my mom's 42 and i still live with her so we see eachother multiple times a day. She's always been extremely sensitive to a smells, she has just such a strong sense of smell that, she can't stand the smell of cooking and gets incredible headaches just from cooking eggs. I have been using purfume all my life but I only started wearing it daily recently, I always apply 2 sprays on my neck and sometimes an extra on my wrists but not often. I have always not wanted to offend people with my purfume, it's very important to me as I've been on the other end before. So we where just casually talking about purfume and she asked how many sprays I use and I was like oh 2 sometimes 3 and she was just flabbergasted I was so confused. She told me your only supposed to apply 1 spray of purfume and to do that from now on because I give her horrible headaches (she's literally never mentioned this before) but idk. I've always applied 2 sprays and on here I see people saying that's an acceptable amount and I've never heard from anyone else it was too much but now I'm insecure and worried. Also I'm autistic and I really really like doing the same thing over and over and I just can't even imagine myself only using 1 spray, it's just something I've never done before. I'm worried that with 1 spray I won't he able to smell my own purfume and that my habbit will be completely thrown off making each spray seem unsatisfying compared to what I'm used to. Idk if I'm being unreasonable or if she's just too sensitive, I don't know how to handle this as I feel guilty now because I don't wanna give her headaches. I feel so conflicted, is she being unreasonable or am i, I can't tell, I just rlly like purfume and I don't wanna ruin it by only having to do only one spray. I know that seems dramatic but idk, what do yall think?
