What do you expect for quiet hours?

I've noticed a lot of properties now are specifying quiet hours between 10pm and 7am. I'm usually quite relaxed on this as my stay is rural. But I wondered what everyone else expects? Especially as I holiday once a year with a large group of friends, and whilst we're not partying into the early hours we do tend to like sitting outside socialising and playing card games etc.
