Realism Overhaul and stock parts being rescaled…

Ok so I am unsure if this was asked before but I did search for this online and only found that RO does indeed do this.

RO rescales the stock parts to align with… reallife counterparts……!?!? Ok so what realife counterpart exists for the MK2 cockpit and fuel parts?? This makes no sense to me at all. The stock parts specifically are the stock parts to align with the scales of Kerbals sitting inside.

I use FreeIVA a lot due to this feeling like you‘re really inside the rocket or station or whatever and rescaled stock parts really put me off especially because all are rescaled in a way that they are not compatible with each other. I love that RO changes how engines work and that especially with engines which are not part of the stock game.

I wish there was a way to stop RO from rescaling the stock parts. Is there a way for me to do that? Can I go into the mods folder and perhaps delete some files which exist to specifically rescale the stock parts?
