I found some mold in my closet, despite there being a vent in there. Upon inspection, there were no spores on any of my clothes but there was a wooden shelf l'd stored back there where there were less than a dozen small greenish spots. So here's what I did: wiped the wall once with a paper towels, then sprayed the whole thing with 15% vinegar, let it sit, scrubbed & wiped it down, let it dry and sprayed it once more, without wiping this time. I left it for an hour before checking if it had dried (it did) and then sprayed a colossal load of antibacterial disinfectant spray (lyrosol, claims to remove bacteria and viruses). Now I've opened my windows and turned on my fan. It's cold right now, not sure that's ideal but I'm not sure. Would be safe to put my clothes back? I checked the jackets that haven't left their spot in nearly 6 months and they're visually "clean", no spores. Anything else I need to do?

First photo is before and the last photo is after cleaning.

Additionally, there is a vent in the closet but someone said if the vent is on a wall that is also the one facing the exterior, then it might bring in cold condescended air and that may be the source. My vent does in fact blow cold air but I’m guessing it’s there for a reason? Do I cover the vent?

How do I get rid of mold?
