Oil consumption

Hello, I have a Subaru Impreza with 68k miles on it. The last oil change was in September last year, and a change is due this month. Since then, I have driven about 7k miles, and the engine has consumed a little over 2 quarts.

Is this normal?

I checked the dipstick yesterday, and almost nothing nd I have 0 history with leaks (I normally do once a month, but it seems like I need to do it once a week) but no oil level light. I topped it off with 1 qt and will add another quart before changing it on Monday.

Is engine wear expected?

I'm thinking of getting an analyst done to see if anything was damaged.
