part time and medical school...is it possible

Is it possible to work and pursue med school at the same time? Is there anyone who went throught med school while having to work part time? I'd like to hear your thoughts and advice.

Currently, I'm a nursing student and a first year to be exact. While I'm still enjoying college I sometimes can't help but think what I'll do after graduating.

I've already had the internal choice to continue to go to med school, however my family thinks otherwise and wants me to work right after graduating. That's not much of a problem for me as I also acknowledge that financially speaking med school may be too much and my mom might not be able to sustain my education for long. Althought I really do want to pursue med school right after (if given the chance/opportunity)

Realistically speaking working and being a medical student might just be a road to see god quickly haha. But truthfully, i might just do anything that it takes even if it might take a decade or more (or kung hanggang saan makakaya ko) I'd like to hear from the veterans out here, and what you think I can do :))

PS: pls refrain from being discouraging haha. dami kong kasing nakikitang mga veteran medical practitioners na mahilig manakot ng mga studyante akala mo naman nakakamotivate. iba po ang pagiging realistic sa debbie downer. Thank you!
