Meeting the same demons!

Assalamu alaikum my brothers and sisters 💀

I left Islam when I was 16 years old. I thought I was very smart to identify the BS at such a young age-I just asked why couldn’t Allah make everyone exactly like Mohammed and got no answers. Prior to that? A 5 waqt 30 roza kid. took out an Allah Vigil the size of a saucer off a door frame wearing it flexing on my Hindu classmates, Had frequent quarrels with the said classmates mocking their religion every chance I got.. et cetera et cetera

So many things happened after 16 but fast forward to today I was woken up from my slumber 6 hours short of the daily requirement by my dear mother banging on the door better than a jackhammer can, ordering me to go to the mosque. My back aches, have been on a complete arrest since two months, told her so, she didn’t care, told about my daily sleep requirement to be able to work and to heal the pain, she didn’t care. Had to take out my motorcycle, roaming around my village because she literally threatened me to oust me.

Writing this with great disappointment, been a lurker in this subreddit for a while; I’m looking for company, I’m looking for answers… Why isn’t it obvious to 2 billion people that the creator (if any) of billions of stars and black holes and supernova and what not won’t care about some ants on a rock bending five times a day? Why hasn’t religion die down in the age of technology? Why did my best friend who was atheist five years ago became staunchly religious after he moved to UK? Why did the village drunkard and troublemaker suddenly started going to mosque claiming that he became “GOOD”? why have all the people in my village above 30 turned nothing short of a full-time Islamist?

Even Instagram algorithm has become a Sheikh, shows me revert stories, Dua aesthetic reels.. how much a man can hit “not interested?”

Please I want solid answers... facts/opinions.. WHY DOES THE ENTIRE WORLD SEEEMS TO HAVE BECOME AN ISLAMIC NATION? Please!
