Devon's plan won't work

Devon's plan regarding the innie cabin won't work, Here's what I think based on what we know so far:

We see that Gemma has multiple "innies" , meaning she steps into a specific door and turns into a specific innie - meaning that door's sensor is programmed to "switch" her to a pre-programmed selection.

We thought up until now that the elevators only "toggle" back and forth the characters, but it can't be the case if there are multiple innies - which we know for a fact - because toggle only works in a binary state - 2 aspects only.

If you really think about it, it makes sense - the elevator must choose the innie to trigger; otherwise, it can make a fatal mistake, even switching to an outie by mistake. Lumon must program each and every sensor to work with the several characters.

So considering this - Devon's plan - to bring Mark to the cabin in order to talk to his innie - will never work as those cabins are only programmed for specific (pregnant) people , and won't work on Mark.
If anything, it will only alert Lumon that someone tried to use that sensor - right ?

Maybe that's what Reghabi meant when she said it won't work?
