Basement floor drain product question
Hello all, I have a question for my basement which I'd like to finish. I have a concrete slab, sloping from all directions toward a drain in the center. I was thinking of installing something like Drycore, then flooring on top, drycore has little dimples that elevate the OSB off the floor and allow airflow and some minor water flow.
I was wondering if there's a way to keep the floor drainage, in case of some bad foundation leak and water ran under the drycore. But also have a floor drain on top of the flooring. I'm picturing like a special floor drain, that allows drainage at the slab level, and also 2-3" up from the finished floor. Like a double drain. Is that even a thing? Or do people just usually raise their floor drain to finished floor level and not think of anything under the basement subfloor?
