Why can't my trains load up?

I've built my first train line, to bring bauxite to my base (will be bringing quartz back with another train line), and I cannot get the Freight Platform to load up a single carriage on my train. They are all set to load at the bauxite site, my train is parked under each loading arm, and nothing happens.
