Sensitive throat and feel multiple lump when I touch put my finger inside. Smoker past

I'm 21M, I have throat issues for more than a year. My throat gets sore easily when I drink something cold or talk too much, feels like I'm 1 day away from getting toncil.

I used to smoke a lot when I was in school and college but left it all for over an year now.

Today morning when I put my finger inside my throat, I can feel lot of small lumps in there, it doesn't feel pain when I touch them, just there are lumps covering the whole throat in the outer neck side (the side of neck parallel to face and not back of head)

Is it really concerning thing as I was a smoker back then? My throat is really sensitive too and always feel like I can get toncil anytime.
