First 100km ultrarun - XT8 or MT3 to do it?
Hey runners
I owned a evadict xt8 and used for most of my trans hike and even for at least two 50km trail race.
I feel it is prefect aside from feeling hard and slightly uncomfortable after such long distance. The shoes now has 700km of mileage and I would like to add a new shoes, especially to my upcoming first 100km trail run and subsequent the other race, and for any long distance speed hike.
I live in tropical area so I would expecting the trail is somwhere mixture of mud, trail(majority, road (max 20%) a d of course, rivers.
I now presented with 4 choice.
-
Kiprun MT3 While decathlon promote XT8 is good in mud, I not sure if MT3 is good in mud and I seen reviews saying it is hard and not suitable for ultra marathon trail race.
-
Kailas Fuga EX3 Expensive but never tried before
-
Hoka Speedgoat Expensive but never tried before
-
back to xt8 So of my friend suggested me to buy a second xt8 because I already used to it.
Can everyone share you opinions and advice? Thanks in advance
