First day and I can't finish my soup

Getting Started | Week One

Took my first dose last night, I was nervous to do the jab, in my mind it was like the finger prick blood test but it was so simple and pain free. The needle is so short

No real negative effects apart from thirst last night (to be expected). I annoying also seem to have got a cold today (not jab related and I can thank my kids for that).

I am shocked at the slowed down eating, I had breakfast this morning (Banana, single piece of toast, thin spread of phillidelphia and electrolyte drink) and almost couldn't finish the toast.

There was birthday cake sitting in my kitchen this morning and didn't touch it last night or this morning something that would have never been possible before. TBH it is still there and only just noticed it while cleaning up.

Lunch I have a house full of kids so I am making 4 different lunches but I didn't snack on theirs (usually I would). I made a soup for most of us (carrot, courgette) but I added some lentils (60 cal) to get some protein and so far it's taken 20 minutes to finish it and I am leaving 1/4 of the cup.

I have read 4 small meals might be better than 3 normal ones and can see me doing this. Going to have to find a good protein source too (planning on chicken for dinner)
