Fun daily driver

Currently driving an 05 Camry (180k) and a 13 Rav4 (225k). Will be keeping both for teenagers to drive but time for momma to get something new.

In an ideal world I would have a manual transmission AWD sport wagon (Audi, Subaru, VW etc) BUT, no one is making cars like that anymore.

Love the drive of German cars but despise the frequent repairs (drove VWs in my 20s). Don’t love being down low to the ground (disliked driving Carolla hatch & Civic recently). Subaru Crosstek lacked any real power at all, WRX was OK but made me feel like I should be a 24 year old guy on his way to impress his girlfriend with his new noisy ride.

Considering Lexus UX, Lexus NX, what else would you throw in the mix? New or used, under $45k and reliable because I hate the repair shop. No EVs.
