So, thinking of doing this..

Hi everyone!

I am new here, and gave since discovered that there is such a thing as building your own watch been thinking of taking the plunge.

I have no experience or equipment, but I have seen that there are comprehensive sites that stock parts, tools and have guides. So should be doable?

But do you have any input or advice for someone just about to start out. Like things you wish you knew before, quality of tools, the best sites for parts, all or anything else?

It would be much appreciated!

Thinking of a field tool watch. Something I currently dont own. Simple, highly readable, good lume, count down bezel, brushed, coated or blasted, on a Nato or rubber strap.
