Campervan Trip Through the Scottish Highlands // July 14-19
Hi, I [26F] am looking for anyone wanting to join a campervan trip through the Scottish Highlands from July 14-19 (the dates are somewhat flexible; could also do 22-27).
Picture this: cruising past Loch Lomond, winding through the eerie beauty of Glencoe, and settling in Fort William for the night. The next morning, we hop on the Jacobite Steam Train (yep, the Hogwarts Express) and watch the scenery roll by as we cross the Glenfinnan Viaduct.
From there, we head to the Isle of Skye—chasing waterfalls at the Fairy Pools, hiking to the Old Man of Storr, and maybe even stopping for a Highland cow tour. Then it’s off to Inverness to stand on the battlefield at Culloden and scan Loch Ness for a certain famous monster.
On the way back, we can stop in Oban—maybe ferry out to Mull or Iona, if time allows—before wrapping up in Edinburgh. And the best part? Doing it all with a campervan, so we can park up in some pretty stunning spots, wake up to mountain views, and not worry about schedules too much.
No pressure, but if this sounds like your kind of trip… just saying, it could be fun.
Ready to hit the road? Scotland is waiting (and so am I).
