(GTA 5 PC E&E) Lower FPS after patch yesterday
So, when I initially downloaded and started playing the new version of GTA 5 on the PC, my FPS were much better than they were in the Legacy version.
While in Legacy, I had around 70-90 in GTA V and GTA Online, in Expanded and Enhanced, I got 100-120 easily, with Raytracing on High.
Yesterday, a new update was released, and after installing it, my FPS have shrunken to 50-60 in GTA V and 60-80 in GTA Online. Now, I need to use an upscaling method like AMD FSR 3 to get sufficient FPS.
I tried verifying my game files, restart it, and the PC, but nothing helped. At the same time, a new driver update was released yesterday, but since that was mainly for FSR 4 and AMD‘s new 9000 series, I doubt my 6750 XT should be struggling from it.
Things I haven‘t tried yet are: reinstalling the game, downgrade drivers and potentially hope for another game update soon.
My specs for 1440p resolution:
- GPU: RX 6750 XT
- CPU: Ryzen 7 7700X
- RAM: 32GB DDR5
- PSU: 850W
- Motherboard: MSI B650
Did anybody else make this experience since yesterday and has potential fixes?
