How do you create your thumbnail?

When it comes to thumbnails i feel like i can never get them right or think about them. Sometimes it takes hours, other i just slap anything in minutes ☠️ For my last video, I couldn’t think of anything! Although it should be pretty simple, so i just created whatever and called it a day. How do y’all do it?
