Have you ever found a quote that just resonated with you? Why?

The other day, I found the quote, “Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.”

I found that it really, truly resonated with me. Reason being, I recently got hurt by people who thought were my friends. At the same time, some of my other friends cancelled all of their plans to help me feel better.

Now enough time has passed that I see this as a way of seeing everyone’s true colors. I’ve never felt closer to my (good) friends, and I realize now that they are what really matter. I’ve made sure to know how much I love and appreciate them. I’ve had conversations with some of them where we’ve agreed to hang out more and hopefully strengthen our bond.

I thought I had it good before, but I think I’m heading in a direction that will be even better, just like the quote says.
