Has everyone ever gotten a discount as a result of their mistake?

I took my free personal training session yesterday. Something happened and I ended up getting charged for it ($150). I got three different emails from various staff members, one being the manager, apologizing for the situation. Do you think there’s any way they would give me some kind of promo if I asked?
