Grandfather naturalized but not grandmother

Mother born in Italy in 1955 to Italian parents then immigrated to the UK in 1960.

In 1968 grandfather naturalized British and naturalized mother who was 13 at the time BUT grandmother never naturalized. The fact that the grandmother never naturalized would mother who naturalized as a minor with father allow mother to have maintained Italian citizenship ?
