Bizzare dream about my boyfriend

I (22F) had a very strange nightmare last night. I dreamt that my boyfriend confessed to me that he had sex (sodomy) with a little yellow bird, and killed it with his bare hand afterwards. I had to break up with him in the dream because he confessed to such a monstrous act and I started viewing him as a completely different person?

What could this possibly mean? It’s worth mentioning that my bf randomly mentioned chickens the day before so it maybe sticked with me.
