Psoriasis again
Wondering if it's normal to happen this way. Though with P.A it seems there is no normal, just it being what it is. As a young kid into my very early 20's I had psoriasis. It was fairly full body coverage. It eased off and fully disappeared. I was diagnosed with P.A last year, at 53. But had been misdiagnosed for 20 years, but likely longer. Anyway, I began amgevita in October and am now injecting weekly, 40mgs. Not having amazing success with it, just some breaks in the peak flares, still having everyday pain. Only this week I noticed the familiar feel of psoriasis on my neck again. Its 100% there. Surely I cannot be getting the skin issues again whilst on the weekly injections? 30 years since I've had any skin psoriasis. Has this scenario happened any of you? I am due back to my rhumatologist in May. I might go to gp to request a topical cream in the meantime.
