Is it worth updating from Windows Update or doing it manually from AMD Adrenalin?

3 months ago I bought a pc, to be more specific is a ryzen 5 8600g and I’m using windows 11 24H2 but my question is it necessary to update from windows update if I already have AMD adrenalin and how often I should update? or only when I have problems with my pc. Besides from time to time I’ve heard is necessary to update for better performance but idk, I tend to make those questions bc is my first pc and I want information to avoid problems in the future.
