Has anyone successfully asked for a managed move?

I am currently being bullied by my LM to the extent I am experiencing huge anxiety about work. They’re micro managing me to excess - I am having to ask permission before messaging anyone G7 or above, amongst many other things. I’ve been in this dept 5 years and never had anything other than positive feedback - one month of them as my manager and my confidence has been completely destroyed. Has anyone been successful in moving to another role due to bullying? I cannot see this situation improving if I remain.
