Non-RT GPU Performance

When the M3 Pro released, it was reported that it had a weaker GPU than the M2 Pro, outside of ray-tracing. Has anyone noticed this making much of a difference in gaming performance?

I have an M2 MBP, with no intention of upgrading; just curious about people’s experiences.
