How your family reacted

I have a sister relatively young yet Adult who got an obsession with Japan and that wants to expat there, the issue is that my fam and I are against it and it creates huge conflicts inside my Family because of this.

Im here to ask expat how did your fam reacted, how old were you when you did it, how is your relationship now with your fam ? Do you regret going ? Don’t you miss them or your native country ?
